Team Projects

Teams of 2 or 3 students are allowed.  Teams greater than 3 students are prohibited.

Teams are handled differently from individual projects.

Team members should not register individually on line.  Instead, the Team Contact Person (team leader) will register a team project one time on our web site.  During the registration process the Team Contact Person will enter all  the names of the teammates working on the project.  During the registration process the Team Contact Person will also be asked to enter all the email addresses and schools of teammates.

The first name that is entered at the top of the registration form will be known as the “Team Contact Person.”  Further down on the registration form the team leader/contact person will be asked for Teammate #1 (and Teammate #2, if applicable).  If there is not a 2nd teammate, leave that field blank.

The Team Contact Person will be the only person with whom ScienceMONTGOMERY communicates.  All emails will be sent to this person, including the SRC decision.  The Team Contact Person is responsible for forwarding any communication that he/she receives to his/her teammates.  In addition, all prizes that are awarded to the team in March will be given to the Team Contact Person.  The Team Contact Person is responsible for forwarding the prizes to teammates.

Once a team project has been registered online by the Team Contact Person, he/she will need to print off the registration form.  The printed registration form will contain all the data (name, address, phone number, etc.) for the Team Contact person.  In addition, the Team Contact person should print one (or two) registration forms for each teammate(s). The Team Contact Person them gives these registration forms to teammates to fill out.  Completed registration forms must be submitted to ScienceMONTGOMERY for all teammates who work on a project.
